Dynaspine helps promote health and wellbeing at work
Last week Dynaspine was at the fifth Health and Wellbeing at Work Show at the NEC, Birmingham. The Dynaspine stand was devoted to demonstrating the back support and allowing delegates and exhibitors to try it out for themselves.
The Health and Wellbeing at Work Show has now established itself as the leading event for those responsible for the health and wellbeing of people in work. This year, over 3,000 individuals attended the show and attended various lectures covering employment law, sickness absence management, stress management, occupational health, managing disability in the workplace and many more.
“Today, more than ever, organisations need to ensure their employees are fit, healthy, energised and in work”
(http://www.healthatwork2011.co.uk). The Dynaspine Team were at the show in full force to help promote a healthy workforce with the help of the Dynaspine Back Support.
Our stand was kept busy with lots of interest and great feedback from delegates and exhibitors.
Dynaspine Back Support
In case you didn’t get chance to see Dynaspine at the Health and Wellbeing at Work Show, here’s a little more information about why the Dynaspine Back Support is proving to be so popular.
Dynaspine was designed in conjunction with Master Biomechanics Coach, Martin Haines, plus a team of physiotherapists and orthotists, following research into the management of back pain. The results indicated that sitting in an ergonomically sound seated position and allowing for the correct movement of the spine, reduces pressure on the spinal joints and discs, reduces back pain and decreases muscle fatigue.
The unique, Dynaspine technology is particularly helpful if you have muscle aches, nerve pains and tension in your spine or shoulders, which are aggravated by sitting.
Haines supports this theory, “Our spines were designed to move. One common misconception is that if you can get into a perfect ergonomic position that’s fine. We have found that while it may be possible to sit still in an ergonomically sound position for longer than a poor one, sitting still is the bigger issue rather than necessarily the position adopted. If you regularly change the position you’re in, the workload is shifted onto other muscles.”
There are a number of back supports available to promote a correct back posture. However, Dynaspine is unique in that it promotes movement in the seated position, rather than holding the back in a static position.
Dynaspine:
- Has two flexible back support plates that conform to the shape of the back and continually provide much needed support throughout changes in seating positions.
- Provides optimal support to reduce the pressures placed on the spinal joints and discs.
- Is height adjustable to allow for the correct positioning of the Dynaspine back support plates.
- Keeps the back nice and cool thanks to the air vents built into the back support plates.
- Is lightweight and comes with a free carry case so it is easy to transport.
The Dynaspine Back Support can be purchased from http://www.dynaspineinternational.com for £79.99 inc vat.
