Domino’s Pizza believes in opportunities for all. The company is an Age Positive Employer Champion, which means that it has been recognised for its commitment to welcoming applicants of all ages.  Domino’s has recruited on the basis of ability and, as many team members go on to management positions in under two years, this recruitment drive has been a fantastic opportunity for jobseekers in Epping.

At induction, as well as throughout their career, Domino’s offers its employees full training, ranging from dough management and food hygiene for pizza makers through to road safety for pizza delivery experts. Domino’s always recruits from the surrounding area and, with an additional focus on developing strong community links, aims to deliver more than just great tasting pizza. In particular, Domino’s supports Special Olympics Great Britain (SOGB) on both a national and local level.  SOGB provides people with learning disabilities opportunities to take part in year-round sports training and competition.

Franchisees of the new store, Amir Zarinabad and Ajaz Mirza, said; “We are delighted our new store is now open.  We have a skilled team of pizza makers, customer service representatives and delivery experts who are all thoroughly enjoying serving homes in the area with our delicious pizza.  The response from customers so far has been great – Epping certainly seems to be a town of pizza lovers!”

To place an order, you can visit the new store at 95 High Street, Epping, Essex, CM16 4BQ or call them on 01992 577111. Alternatively, you can order online at www.dominos.co.uk or using Domino’s iPad, iPhone and Android apps.

Domino’s Pizza may be coming to a town near you this week, as the mobile unit hits the road for its first ever tour of Scotland.  The unit will take to the road on Wednesday, February 8 until Sunday, February 12.  The idea is to visit towns in Scotland and feed fresh, hot pizza to the local residents that currently don’t benefit from a Domino’s Pizza store in their neighbourhood.

Sean Geddes, Domino’s Pizza franchisee and owner of the mobile unit said:  “We are looking forward to bringing Domino’s Pizza to those homes that don’t have the luxury of being able to order from us.  We want to share our delicious pizza with as many people in Scotland as we can.  This tour will help us to promote the Domino’s brand and give people in these outreach towns an opportunity to order the best pizza they have ever tasted.”

If this tour is a success there will be repeat visits to these towns and a look at visiting other remote Scottish towns such as Fort William, Oban, Thurso, Dunoon, Galashiels and Hawick.

The Domino’s mobile unit tour starts in Peterhead on Wednesday, February 8.  It will then visit Fraserburgh (February 9), Buckie (February 10), Elgin (February 11) and finally finish up in Forres on Sunday, February 12.  Domino’s has tied up with Lidl in order to offer hot pizza to the local residents of these towns, as Lidl has agreed to let the Domino’s mobile unit use their car parks, in all the towns it visits.  The unit will be serving a variety of hot, fresh pizzas, as well as tasty side orders and refreshing drinks.  The unit will open for orders from Midday until 10pm.
