I am impressed by the improvements made over the years… I still go around, you know… all over the island, and the way Malta has changed – for the better – impresses me,” says retired teacher Valerie Castell, a lively British lady of 81 who has just ended her 24th month-long holiday in Malta, staying each and every time at the Seashells Resort at Suncrest.
Ms Castell came to Malta for first time 24 years ago, with her husband. “We even made a lot of friends here: I met a British friend who also was a regular guest at the Suncrest. She lived on the other side of England and we always made plans to meet on holiday in Malta, at the Suncrest. We also met four Maltese couples who we used to go out with… I still do to this day” she says. “Malta has changed a lot, even the Suncrest Hotel has changed, it is now called Seashells Resort at Suncrest,” she says “ and it is amazing how much has improved,” she recalls, saying that she in Malta and particularly at the Seashells Resort she feels pampered and cared for every time. “I feel at home,” she smiles.
