It’s disheartening for the average shopper to miss out on great deals, especially within the current economic climate.

Thanks to SportsDirect.com, the UK’s leading sportswear retailer- customers can now get a fairer deal on a huge selection of their products thanks to the introduction of their maximum order allowance. The most recent online deals from the discount-friendly  football boots retailer include a selection of products reduced by a huge 90%; an incredible deal for anyone, unless of course, someone snaps the majority of the products up before you get home from work.

To give the average shopper a better chance at grabbing those superb online bargains, which offers something for every member of the family (and for every season!) SportsDirect.com now only allows a maximum of 3 items to be ordered per household on the daily deals. Official 2012 Sport Relief T-Shirt launched

Stars of sport and screen line up to model official 2012 Sport Relief T-Shirt

The 2012 Sport Relief T-shirt is launched today with a host of famous faces lining up to be photographed in this year’s range. Led by TV star Amy Childs, a stellar list of celebrities have been modelling the T-shirt, which is available exclusively from Sportsdirect.com.

Amy Childs has posed for a series of stunning photographs to front this year’s Sport Relief T-shirt campaign, whilst a huge supporting cast including the likes of Olly Murs, Stacey Solomon and Kara Tointon have all modelled the iconic T-shirt (all images available on request).

Sportsdirect.com is producing and selling both the Official 2012 Sport Relief T-shirt, available in both kids and adults sizes, and three styles of Limited Edition T-shirt, available in Men’s & Women’s sizes. The T-shirts are available right now in Sportsdirect.com’s 400 stores and online.

Customers are also able to personalise their official 2012 Sport Relief T-shirt for the first time by adding letters and numbers to give their T-shirt its own unique look. The personalisation service will be exclusively available both in-store and online at Sportsdirect.com.

Amy Childs said: “‘Like me you don’t need to be sporty to get involved with Sport Relief.  Something as simple as buying an official Sport Relief T-shirt from Sportsdirect.com will help transform lives in the UK and across the world’s poorest countries. Trust me, the only way is to buy the t-shirt, look fantastic and know you’re doing your bit.”

The T-shirts, which are all made from 100% fair trade cotton, will retail at £8 for the adult T-shirt and £6 for the junior, with £4 of the proceeds of the adult shirt and £2 of the junior shirt going directly to Sport Relief.

Dave Forsey, CEO of Sportsdirect.com, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Sport Relief and look forward to contributing to another phenomenal campaign. Sport Relief has gone from strength to strength in recent years and we hope that our customers wholeheartedly support the campaign by ordering online or picking up a -shirt in-store. 2012 is going to be a massive year for sport, and we are very excited to be partnering with Sport Relief at this time.”

Karl Reynolds, Head of Fundraising at Sport Relief, added: “Sportsdirect.com is a natural partner to sell the 2012 T-Shirt. As the UK’s number one sports retailer, the network of stores provides a great route for us to get our T-Shirt to as many people as possible. Avoid Common Golf Injuries with Skins from SportsDirect.com!

For many, golf may seem a relaxed sport with very little chance of injury, however over practice, incorrect grip and poor swinging techniques could lead to various golfing injuries that could not only put you off your game, but send you to the doctor’s office. Leading sports retailer SportsDirect.com offers a great range of products from golf shoes to the fantastic new Skins range that can help you train correctly and avoid future injury.

Layering up on the course will now not only help regulate your body temperature, but the new range of base layer products called Skins is manufactured with a gradient compression system to ensure that whatever position you are in when taking your swing, the pressure is built up in the correct areas. The Lycra and Meryl microfiber construction is designed to reduce lactic acid build up which both increases oxygenation and improves circulation- all whilst you’re exercising!

Applying pressure in the correct areas could help prevent back and knee pain after training. Some golfers experience knee pain after applying too much pressure before swinging, staying in a slightly bent over position for hours on end can also lead to minor back strains. Wearing Skins base layer can help ease the pressure on the spine and knee areas which could help prevent further injury through training and competing.

The Skins range is available from SportsDirect.com in both adult (small to extra large) and junior (nine to thirteen years) sizes, across a variety of styles including long sleeved tops, short sleeved tops, tights and shorts.

So enjoy the golf course without injury risk, you can order online right now at www.sportsdirect.com and keep up to date with the latest golf news and product offers on the official Facebook and Twitter pages.
